Nuclear energy is the cleanest, greenest electricity…

25 Oct

Hii everyone…p

Today we like to share with you guys is that nuclear energy is cleanest and greenest….the answer is YES!!, What is greenest? Green electricity’ is electricity produced from sources which do not cause impacts upon the environment. The cleanest energy sources are those which utilize the natural energy flows of the Earth. Green energy produced in a manner that has less of a negative impact to the environment than energy sources like fossil fuels, which are often produced with harmful side effects.

It is unlikely that we can meet our aggressive climate goals if we eliminate nuclear power as an option.” When it comes to the generation of base load electricity – the 80 per cent of electricity that must be available around the clock to power refrigerators, washing machines, plasma televisions, computers, traffic lights, air conditioners and so on – the options include coal, gas, oil, hydroelectricity and nuclear energy. If fossil fuels are excluded because they are dirty and the risks to hydroelectricity from water scarcity are considered, then the only available clean option for base load electricity is nuclear power. Nuclear energy, that is considered a green energy source because of its lower waste output relative to energy sources such as coal or oil.

We believe nuclear power is one part of the solution to climate change, given that it emits no greenhouse gases. In addition, our industry supports increasing nuclear power’s ability to generate electricity because of the current trend in which more and more natural gas is being used for that purpose. Because it is the cleanest burning fossil fuel, more and more electricity generators are turning to natural gas as a way to comply with increasingly stringent environmental standards. Unfortunately, as demand for natural gas in this market increases, so does its price, which makes it more expensive for the residential and commercial customers that natural gas utilities primarily serve. That is why our industry supports the availability of a variety of supply sources for electricity generation, including more nuclear power.

Nowadays, world will need additional electricity supply going forward, and nuclear energy is a proven technology that provides large amounts of electricity supply additions without associated carbon emissions.

i believe nuclear power is one part of the solution to climate change, but some people still fear of nuclear even though we know that nuclear waste can be handle correctly

Hi there. A very nice article and your site theme matches your article’s point. GO GREEN.
I’m in love with the fact that Nuclear energy is a very efficient way to produce energy. Almost minuscule percentage of energy goes to waste and 100% efficiency can be achieved. Even nowadays car developers, etc they are trying really hard to achieve 100% efficiency in their work, which is somewhat impossible.

    Go green, support Nuclear Energy.

AFTER READ THIS POST,I GET KNOW THAT NUCLEAR ENERGY IS A SAFE ENERGY..BEFORE THIS ALL MY THOUGHT WAS BAD ABOUT NUCLEAR ENERGY, IT ONLY GIVE DISASTERS TO US…SO I THINK THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY TO MAKE IT AS EXTRA SOURCE OF ENERGY..

yeah..i’m very2 agree that nuclear technology is greenest technology.no poisonous gas or contaminated liquid will produced.hence, our earth can recovered and we can live in clean environment.nuclear technology is the solution to generate electricity in the big scale and at the same time,we can lesser pollution occur in the world.no more greenhouse gases will be produced.
so,we must support nuclear technology for the sake of our country and earth.><

The nuclear companies are handling the wastes very neatly and organized, its fantastic to see that all this work goes into the disposal of waste. I have to ask, what about the idea of sending the waste to space and disposing it in the sun, sounds like a science fiction, but that is what is being proposed today, what do you think and if it is possible, will the malaysian government will consider this as a viable alternative than to just bury the waste? Because it will mean that the cost of handling nuclear energy will also increase (based on personal assumption). Thanks

Nice article. Since nuclear energy is green energy, I think its is time for us to go for nuclear energy. What we waiting for? If we don’t switch to nuclear energy, the green house effect become more worsen due to burning of natural gas in natural gas power plant

i’m totally agree for nuclear energy is a green technologies. Nuclear energy, that is considered a green energy source because of its lower waste output relative to energy sources such as coal or oil. as explained during last nuclear talks series, quantity of nuclear waste much more lesser than oil and coal waste. on top of that, nuclear waste are reusable! that is very green technologies there!

I’ve read lot of articles regarding this nuclear energy as the greenest and cleanest energy we had so far. Thus it proves that NPP brings more positive remarks rather than the negative one and technically, I think that it is a good idea if we really had one.

Why we have to delay the installment of this technology? It is proven that it will give more good than bad effects. Our government should realize that we need it from now on. You should present all of your post to open their mind and yhis will ensure we can start to install this technology earlier. Thanks..

i agree that nuclear energy is the finest energy and the cleanliness among those other energy. coal also can increase the temperature if it is left on the surface and cause fire.
combustion of fossil fuels also cause greenhouse effect.
so the only option to safer, and clean energy resource is nuclear energy…:)

Peoples get paranoid of the capability of nuclear to cause harm. Dont blame them, blame the American movies.
We should look at the bigger picture, how nuclear power plant could help us facing the climate change, global warming in long term time. They need to be exposed about nuclear energy – its greenest.

NPP is the best solution for our source of energy problem and climate change. Some people afraid to go for nuclear because the waste produce from the process is radioactive. But the NPP already have the waste management system. So basically the nuclear power is not dangerous when be handle properly by the experts. I believe that one day Malaysia will operate their own NPP.

if this nuclear power is the greenest electricity, why not we as the citizen of our country give support to the government to build a nuclear plant. this is an advantage for us and future generation as we can decrease the contamination in earth as we want to live in until we die. coal and fuel is limited source which it will be less and less in future, besides of its side effect to our environment. hence by using nuclear as source to generate electricity is a wise choice as its proven that is considered a green energy source because of its lower waste output relative to energy sources such as coal or oil. finally we can now breathing with a sigh of relief as the scientist already found a solution to to replace the unrenewable source which is also save our environment.

yes i do think that its a green source of energy. its does not harm nature by not emmiting any harmful gasses. on top of that this power plant will help improve the quality of life in malaysia as the power plant produce very little waste while producing massive amount of power. for example, approximately two to three buke power plants will be sufficient to power the whole power grid in malaysia.

I agree with this post. I think the obstacle for the acceptance of the people is still the perception of the plant’s safetiness. We are so influenced by the movies about the nuclear war threat and that most people imagine where they heard the weord nuclear. But I’m sure with all these contiunous effort by our own nuclear community, the people will gradually give in. Keep the good work guys.

in order to ensure that the global energy demand can be satisfied, we seriously need to consider nuclear power to generate electricity due to its availability of uranium and to reduce the effects of global warming because nuclear fusion, which generate electricity, doesn’t emits co2………
